Hometown Heroes: Les S.
At Reliabank, we believe that every community has its own set of hometown heroes. These are the people who work hard behind the scenes to make sure their community thrives. They may not be in the spotlight, but they’re the ones who make a difference in our communities every day.
That’s why Reliabank is proud to recognize the heroes of our communities with the Hometown Hereos award.
This week’s Hometown Hero is Les Schroeder of Tea, SD.
Les, is a paraprofessional and seventh-grade volleyball coach at the Tea Area School District. He is a beacon of light and love for every student. Whether you’re in kindergarten or about to graduate, Les goes out of his way to make sure you feel included and supported.
Les said, “the best advice he received was that no matter how hard something is to persevere through it and do your best and if you did your best you can live with the results”.
Les is passionate about the value of sports and being part of a team. He attends students’ recreational and club games on the weekends, and he is a proud Tea Titan who can be seen at every home sporting event. His dedication to inclusivity, personalized attention, and his community has earned him a reputation as a Hometown Hero.
