Reliabank Rooted In Community: Beyond Banking – Annual Recap 2024
As we step into 2025, we reflect on a year of growth, connection, and unwavering commitment to the communities we serve. At Reliabank, we believe that being a financial institution goes far beyond offering exceptional banking services—it’s about making a meaningful impact where it matters most.
Our Commitment in Action
This year, our dedicated team members have exemplified our core values through:
- Volunteering 811 Hours: Our employees generously contributed their time to various community initiatives, embodying our commitment to service.
- Serving on 11 Boards & Committees: By participating in local boards and committees, we actively engaged in decision-making processes that drive community development.
- Supporting Over 200 Organizations: Through donations, sponsorships, and volunteer efforts, we extended our support to a diverse range of organizations, reinforcing our dedication to community involvement.
Highlights of Our Community Engagement
Here are some of the impactful initiatives we supported this year:

Greater Goods: Operated by VOA, the goal of GreaterGoods is to strengthen nonprofits throughout the region by lowering supply costs, empowering them to improve the lives of individuals and families through resources to meet basic needs and enhance quality of life.

Sleep in Heavenly Peace: Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP) is a nonprofit organization that builds and delivers handmade beds to children in need who don’t have a bed of their own. Their mission is to ensure that “no kid sleeps on the floor in our town.”

St. Francis House: St. Francis House is a transitional housing facility dedicated to moving individuals from homelessness to hope. SFH provide basic needs, case management, and debt management services to support guests in achieving independence and self-sufficiency.

Make A Wish: Make-A-Wish is a nonprofit organization that grants life-changing wishes to children with critical illnesses. Their mission is to create hope, strength, and joy by turning a child’s dream into reality during challenging times.

Meals on Wheels: Home delivered hot meals are provided Monday through Friday to clients who are unable to travel to, or meet at, the 60’s Plus Dining locations. A visit from a volunteer, offering a hot, nutritious meal, often is the only social contact that many homebound clients receive each day, helping ease the problem of isolation.

Teacher Lunches: Reliabank employees come together to cook and serve lunch for local area teachers during their in-service days before the school year begins. This gesture is a way to show appreciation for educators and support their preparation for the year ahead.

Foster Network: The Foster Network Christmas Shop aims to bring joy to children in foster care by providing them with Christmas gifts in a supportive and festive environment. Its mission is to ensure every foster child feels valued and celebrated during the holiday season.

Watertown Banquet: The Watertown Banquet in South Dakota provides hot, home-cooked meals in a welcoming environment to anyone in need, regardless of their background. Its mission is to foster moments of caring and friendship for all guests.
Looking Ahead
As we move into 2025, Reliabank remains steadfast in our commitment to community engagement. We understand that our success is intertwined with the well-being of the communities we serve. We look forward to building upon this year’s achievements and exploring new avenues to make a positive impact.
Thank you for being a valued member of our community.
Together, we can continue to make a difference.
Warm Regards,
