TRANSACTION ACCOUNT GUARANTEE PROGRAM
Reliabank Dakota is participating in the FDIC’s Transaction Account Guarantee Program. Under that program, through December 31, 2010, all non interest-bearing transaction accounts are fully guaranteed by the FDIC for the entire amount in the account. Coverage under the Transaction Account Guarantee Program is in addition to and separate from the coverage available under the FDIC’s general deposit insurance rules. (A non interest-bearing transaction account includes accounts with interest rates no higher than 0.25 percent if the insured depository institution is committed to maintain the interest rate at or below 0.25 percent.) Those that are covered include Free, Interest, Golden Connections, Student Checking and Business Checking. Premium, Investment, Sweep, Ultimate and Business Premium are not covered. |
